The Hungerford Drug Project
The Hungerford Drug Project has been providing innovative substance misuse services in the heart of London’s West End for over 30 years. The Hungerford provides advice, support, information and treatment for people who are experiencing problems with drug-use and for their families and friends. The Hungerford has a proud reputation that is based on quality and effectiveness, providing services that meet the needs of the diverse community in which we are located. The Hungerford has helped pioneer innovative, client-centred strategies for responding to the needs of drug-users from hard-to-reach groups such as rough sleepers, vulnerable young people, Black and Minority Ethnic communities.

Currently the Hungerford provides an extensive and wide range of services that include; Low Threshold Treatment Day Programme, Project Based Services, Young Peoples Services, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Services, Mobile Needle Exchange Services, External Services within homeless agencies, a comprehensive Training Programme and our recent successfully tendered service in North Islington. In the last 12 months the Hungerford provided services for 3,757 individuals with over 45,129 contacts.
