"Sensitive to the needs of women who have issues with drug use"The Hungerford recognises the importance of providing a service which is sensitive to the needs of women who have issues with drug use.
What is on offer?
One to one work, keyworking liaison and advocacy. Confidential, women specific advice, information and counselling.
W1, a regular women’s space which includes creative workshops, access to e-mail and internet facilities, access to activities and support groups at the Hungerford.
Complimentary therapies including ear acupuncture, shiatsu massage and homeopathy.
Referral to drug treatments including detoxification and rehabilitation, sexual health advice and condoms, benefits advice.
Training support and consultation for professionals.
How are clients referred?
Clients can access the women’s services by telephoning or by visiting the Hungerford’s daily drop-in Monday to Friday 2-5pm. Alternatively we are happy to accept referral from professionals.
W1: Tuesdays 2-5pm.
