| Course Summary: This course is aimed at generic workers with a basic
understanding of young people’s drug use who would
like to develop their understanding and skills further.
The course will provide participants with an opportunity
to explore the relationship between young people and
drugs, recent developments within young people’s
services and develop an understanding of good practice
improving interventions.
This course is aimed at all professionals / volunteers working directly with young people who would like to develop their understanding and skills in providing effective substance misuse interventions with young people. The course will be of benefit for people who have already undertaken some basic drug awareness or as a refresher course for those wishing to understand recent drug trends & new developments in young people’s services.
