| Course Summary: This course is targeted at professionals working directly
with young people who want to develop their skills and
abilities in proving effective substance misuse
interventions. The course will enable participants to
explore a range of interventions, such as education,
advice and treatment services, and develop a number
of good practice models to take back to their
workplaces.
The course will be of particular benefit for people who work in young people’s services such as Connexions, youth services, education, employment and excluded pupils’ provision. Some basic drug awareness training /experience will be beneficial for those wanting to attend this course.Learning Objectives:
