| Course Summary: Services need to be accessible to the entire community and
culturally sensitive to the needs of clients from a diverse
and multi-cultural society.
Focusing on professional practice and on the development of skills in cultural competency, this interactive one-day course will explore how our lack of cultural awareness can often serve as a barrier to accessibility for BME groups. It is relevant to professionals or client workers working directly from any background seeking to reflect upon their practice and develop interventions that more appropriately address the needs of the wider communities.Learning Objectives:
